About Me

Hey all! I’m Natasha Tekeste & I’m a money mindset coach for women!

After 10+ of work as a Chartered Professional in HR, I constantly saw so many women stressed out and anxious about money and work.

Stressed out about not making enough money. About applying for a promotion. Asking for a raise. Going to a performance review process. ALL the things.

I knew I could help.

So, I got certified as a Life Coach. And then got certified as an Advanced Life Coach in Feminist Principles.

I also have a business degree from the University of Alberta, a master’s degree in Adult Education from the University of Calgary, and a Certification in Mediation & Negotiation from York University.

So what does all of this mean for you?

It means that I have the knowledge, skills, and expertise to teach you how to show up for yourself and ask for what they want.

Long before I started my coaching practise, I coached friends, family, and colleagues regularly on money & work.

And now I get to do this full time. It’s the passion of my life and if you want any support in this area, I can help.

In my coaching practise, I teach how my clients how to examine their thoughts and beliefs about themselves.

This is because our thoughts and beliefs about the world around us, generate our feelings. Our feelings lead to our actions, and our actions (so what we do and what we don’t do) are how we create our results in the world!

Our power is always in how we choose to think, and that will determine how we show up.

So, if you want to ask for a raise, apply for a promotion, or grow a business (or anything else that you’re excited by!) -> you need to first believe that those things are possible for you. That’s what will help you take concrete action towards your goal.

This is what I’m passionate about teaching women how to do.

Some fun facts about me:

I’m a first generation Canadian.

I’m half Eritrean & half Ukrainian - as I bi-racial women who has always lived in predominately white communities, I know what it’s like to live in marginalized identities this is one of the reasons why I’m so passionate about using my skills and experience to help women & women of colour earn more money.

The capstone paper for my master’s degree was on the effects of racial discrimination in Canadian workplaces and what adult educators & HR practitioners can do to effect real change for racialized minorities

I’m currently based in Calgary, Alberta on Treaty 7 Territory.

I speak French (fluently) & Spanish (intermediately)

I’m learning to play the piano

I’m also a feminist who believes that every child matters, black lives matter, love is love, and trans rights are human rights & that vaccines save lives.

If any of this resonates with you, send me a message at info@natashatekeste.com as I’d love to hear from you.
